Well, the Meiers and 10 other friends and family are enjoying our first day at sea in the inside passage of Alaska. After a 2 1/2 hour delay leaving port yesterday we finally hit the sea. The weather was surprisingly warmer than we thought. All of our luggage made it and no one got lost!!
Look for daily postings of our trip.

Cadence & Tristan's Birthday Party

On May 17th all the family gathered at Melissa & Mark's home for a birthday pool party for Cadence and Tristan. Cadence turned 4 on 5/12 and Tristan will be 3 on June 19th. My sister Stephanie and her husband Joel were here from the UP of Michigan and couldn't wait to get into the pool. Much fun was had by all!

K-5 Graduation for Casey
Girls Day Out

On May 2nd Ashley, Casey and Cadence went with their Nammie to see Mulan the stage play. We had a great buffet lunch before the performance and then watched the 1 hour play from our center state, 2nd row table. Afterwards, we went to Build A Bear and each of them got to make the animal of their choice. All 3 of them spent the night and were up at the crack of dawn dressed and ready to go!! We had a blast!

Zachery's 6th Birthday
Spring Training

You know it's spring in Arizona when Rod takes us to a Giants spring training game. They didn't win (didn't surprise Patty) but most of the family are still fans. It was in the low 80's with a nice breeze while the rest of you were freezing elsewhere! Rod really goes to eat the food as you can see! Patty goes for the lemonade and being with the grandkids!
Soccer Girl

Well, we have our first sportkids with Ashley. She was in a girls soccer league this spring and she really became the star of the team. (With a coach like her dad...Mr. Soccer) And yes, we do have great weather in Arizona in the spring...it's not hot all year, you know! We can't wait until next year!
