Casey Turns 7 Years Old

Casey invited her friends and one of them was also celebrating his birthday, so they decided to meet at Peter Piper Pizza to celebrate together. Pizza - soda - cake - presents & video games...what could be better??

Zachery, her cousin, made the comment that she has finally caught up to him in age. (He's 7, too!) Erica made a cookies-n-creme cake for Casey & a red velvet cake for her friend David. Erica thought there might be a lot of cake left (you know kids!) but there were only a couple of slices of each left - go figure!

Casey received many fun and pretty presents and she had such a good time with all of her friends and family.

Cadence & Tristan Sing

In early October Cadence and Tristan sang with their PeeWee classmates at church on a Wednesday evening. It was Tristan's first time and he sang and did all the motions and almost said all the words to the Bible memory verse. Cadence is always one of the girls that knows all the words! It was fun hearing their voices recite their Bible verse.

Baseball Fever

Hector & Rod couldn't wait to see the Giants beat the AZ Diamondbacks in their last meeting of the 2009 season. Brandon had on his Diamondback jersey and even caught a t-shirt thrown into the stands. It was over 100 degrees outside, but the stadium even with the top open was a nice 72 degrees!

Daniella turns 3!

On September 19th friends & family gathered at Daniella's favorite dining place, McDonald's to celebrate her 3rd birthday. All 7 grandkids were there and two of Daniella's playmates. Erica made a red velvet birthday cake that we got all over the floor!

Daniella loved getting "money" and her new baby doll. Her new purple sunglasses were a hit, too. I can't believe she is 3!

Happy Birthday Ashley & Brandon

August 12th was Ashley's 11th birthday and August 22nd was Brandon's 9th birthday. They celebrated together this past week and invited several of their friends. We had a great time of food, cake, opening presents and the traditional pinata bashing by all the kids. Here are some fun pictures of the event. (When we lined up their ages in the candles they spelled out 911!)

Monsoon - Arizona Style

Summer Fun @ Nammie & Papa's

Summer is more than half over, but we are still having fun in "hottish" Arizona. There's no better way to forget the heat than playing the Wii and taking a dip in the pool. Zachery, Cadence & Tristan always know how to beat the heat.
