Zachery's School Program

Zachery had a school program in March that he sang about having good character. He also had a small speaking part which you can view below. Great job, Zachery!

Welcome 2009

It's been a while since I've posted anything new on our blog. So much has happened since this year has begun. Rod turned 64 in January and the grandkids came over to celebrate. Instead of putting lots of candles on the cake, we put one gigantic one! Rod forgot Patty's birthday...he will never do that again!

We went to our timeshare in Kona, Hawaii in February and even saw the humpback whales. What a relaxing time.

This month Patty will find out if she needs to go for another round of radiation for her thyroid cancer surgery from a year ago. We will post for prayer if she needs more radiation.

Merry Christmas!

We all met at Erica & Hector's house Christmas morning and the mayhem began. With all 7 grandkids there it was so much fun watching their faces as they opened their presents. It was a good day to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Christmas Cookies

A few days before Christmas Ashley and Casey spent the night and the next morning we began to bake Christmas cookies. We wound up baking over 15 dozen cookies in our pajamas, which is the only way to bake!

Casey Sings!

Casey (6 years old) sang with the adult choir in this years Christmas Cantata. Here is a small video of her song. Enjoy!

2008 Christmas Lights

On December 12th we took 6 of the 7 (that's all we could fit in our van legally!) grandkids around the town to see the Christmas lights. One of the courts is all decorated and is now a tourist attraction for winter visitors. Much fun and laughter was had by all!!

Arizona Winter Sunset

I had to post this beautiful sunset we saw outside our home the other evening. Yes, it's only 55 degrees when I took this picture. It does get cooler here!
